Whether you're trying an online casino platform in Malaysia for the first time, or you're an experienced player looking for something better, this article covers everything you need to know before and after creating your account roll996.
Roll996 wasn't built overnight. It was developed with a genuine understanding of how Malaysian online casino players actually behave – from the most convenient deposit methods (local e-wallets, not foreign credit cards), to the games they enjoy most (PG Soft slots, live baccarat, EPL betting), right down to the language used for customer support (Bahasa Melayu, not just English).
Once you successfully verify your roll996 account via OTP, several things happen at once. First, you'll be taken to your account dashboard showing your current balance, active promotions, and shortcuts to popular games. Second, a 200% First Deposit Bonus notification will appear, reminding you that your first deposit bonus is ready to be claimed.
Your first deposit can be completed in under a minute. Go to the "Deposit" section in your account, choose your preferred payment method – Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, Maybank2u, or CIMB Clicks via FPX – enter a minimum of RM 30 to activate the welcome bonus, and follow the simple on-screen steps. Credits will appear in your roll996 account within seconds.
Before registering, make sure you meet the following requirements, as roll996 only accepts eligible members:
This is the section most new members want to know more about. The 200% First Deposit Bonus means for every RM 1 you deposit on your first top-up, roll996 will add RM 2 in bonus funds to your account. The bonus is capped at RM 1,000 – so if you deposit RM 500 or more, you'll receive the full RM 1,000 bonus, bringing your total playing balance to RM 1,500.
This bonus carries a 20x rollover requirement calculated on the total of your deposit plus bonus. Simple example: deposit RM 100, receive RM 200 bonus, total = RM 300. Required rollover = RM 300 × 20 = RM 6,000. This means you need to place bets totalling RM 6,000 before you can make a withdrawal. Slots typically count 100% towards the rollover, while table games such as baccarat and roulette may count 10%–20%.
If you'd rather not be tied to rollover requirements, you can choose to skip the bonus and make a standard deposit instead. This means all your winnings can be withdrawn at any time with no additional conditions. The choice is yours – the bonus gives you more playing capital, but it does come with rollover terms that need to be met.
You can start playing and make small withdrawals without KYC. However, for withdrawals exceeding RM 500, roll996 will ask you to complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) process by providing a copy of your MyKad and proof of ownership of the payment method you used.
The KYC process is typically completed within 1–2 business days and only needs to be done once. Once verified, your withdrawal limit will be increased and future withdrawals won't require additional checks. KYC isn't meant to inconvenience you – it's a protective measure to ensure no one else can withdraw funds from your account without your authorisation.
A single roll996 account gives you access to all game categories on the platform with no separate accounts needed:
Once your account is active, take a moment to complete these basic security steps. First, enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings for an added layer of protection. Second, never share your login credentials with anyone – including close family members. Third, use a unique password for your roll996 account that is different from your email or social media passwords.
