Virtual Sports or Virtual Sports is a betting category where you wager on computer-generated matches and races powered by independently certified RNG (Random Number Generator) technology. Unlike traditional sports betting where you wait for scheduled real-world fixtures, Virtual Sports at roll996 runs non-stop – with a new match every 2 to 5 minutes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The popularity of Virtual Sports in Malaysia has grown significantly in recent years. Many players are drawn to it for a few key reasons: first, it is not tied to sports seasons or match schedules; second, every match concludes in a very short time (typically 1–5 minutes); and third, it delivers an experience that closely mirrors real sports betting but at a much faster pace.
Among all the Virtual Sports categories available at roll996, Virtual Football is the most widely played. This comes as no surprise, given that football is Malaysia's most popular sport. Players can choose from several virtual leagues, including Virtual Liga Malaysia, Virtual EPL, Virtual La Liga, and Virtual Bundesliga.
Every virtual football match at roll996 lasts approximately 3 minutes, featuring realistic 3D match simulation. Team statistics are factored into the odds – stronger real-world teams will have odds that reflect their actual strength in the virtual format. This makes the experience far more immersive than a simple random number draw.
For virtual football, you can bet on a wide range of markets including win/draw/loss (1X2), Asian handicap, over/under, correct score, first goalscorer, and half-time/full-time. This variety ensures that players familiar with real football betting will feel right at home with the virtual format at roll996.
If you're a fan of horse or dog racing, Virtual Sports at roll996 delivers the experience without the wait. Virtual horse races run every 2 minutes, with 6 to 12 horses competing on the track. Watch realistic racing animations while keeping an eye on shifting odds right up to the start.
The odds system for virtual horse racing at roll996 calculated based on each horse's simulated performance rating. Odds may shift right up until the moment the race begins, much like real horse racing. You can bet on the winner, place, or combine exacta and trifecta bets for bigger multiplied payouts.
Virtual greyhound racing keeps things simple — eight dogs on a straight track, first across the line wins. Each race wraps up in just 30 seconds, making it the ideal choice for players who want fast results. Greyhound odds at roll996 tend to run higher than horse racing, reflecting the greater degree of unpredictability.
The question new players ask most often is: are Virtual Sports truly fair? The answer is yes, and here's how it works at roll996.
Every result in roll996 Virtual Sports is generated by an RNG (Random Number Generator) algorithm that has been certified by internationally accredited independent auditing bodies. This RNG ensures that every outcome is truly random and cannot be predicted or manipulated by anyone – including roll996 itself.
That said, team and horse statistics do influence the likelihood of outcomes. Stronger teams genuinely have better odds of winning — but it's never a sure thing. That's exactly what makes Virtual Sports exciting: there's real unpredictability at play, not just random numbers stripped of context.
All your Virtual Sports betting activity on roll996 is encrypted with 256-bit SSL technology. Your game records and financial information will never be shared with any third party without your consent. For more details, please read our Privacy Policy our full offering.
